| one week, 7 days..thats it folks, i go back to pendleton tomorrow.
im a shock troop, a devil dog, im semper fi and never going to die, im ready to fight, ready kill, im ready kie but never will, im rough im tough, ill never get enough, im a motivated king of battle.
king of battle, thats what they call 0811's like me, field artillery cannon crewman, we are the kings of battle, responsible for 70% of combat casualties, no one has shit on us. grunts like to boast about how many people they have killed when they come back, you'll never hear an artilleryman boast about that. why? because we dont know. we kill by the hundreds. thats why not even grunts have so much as a rat shit on us.
im ready now, i feel good about it, i know what ill be getting myself into, and im ready for all of it.

| well its been a while since i updated, but anyways, my tonsils hurt really bad, they're flared up like a fat kid eating cheesecake with a killer passion on his birthday. well so far today we did a mk19 and AT4 rocket shoot, i didnt get to shoot a rocket, but thats alright watching six go off was cool enough. the mk19 shooting was pretty fun, we did some LOOONG range plunging fires, im talking like 13-1400 meteres, thats pretty close to going beyond the maximum effective range on a point target (1500M) so yeah, im on my lunch break right now, gotta be at the armory to clean the guns at 1300. oh, and if anyone knows when MHS starts back up, can yall tell me? im trying to stop in before i leave for iraq. | | |
| well guys ive been drinking on some bacardi and sprite, mom i know your not happy, buuut, im a marine and we work just about 12 hours a day, so we like to relax after a hard weeks of work. but anyways, my week pretty much sucked, we did stupid shit all week. dumb crew served classes for half the week and then MOUT and staging for the field for the rest of the week. waking up at 0430 and crap...bull shit man. waiting an extra 30 mins at the armory cuz the armory doesnt wanna issue a mk19 to someone, just stupid stuff...anyways, ill update later

| oh man, i think ive had one of the longest..most tiring weekends of my life...hold on, i gotta piss, alright thats better. anyways, so me and my roomates stay up till like 1am friday night watching movies and playing ps2. wake up sat at like 11, contemplate driving out to vegas, dont, then that night we go out this club called the boogy in anehiem, it was retarded...then we go out to denny's till like...0430...dont get back on base till like 0530, wake up at 1300, go to oceanside, get haircuts, and then we go to the mall for a while, and then we come back....and im tired, really tired. and have to remake my rack cuz i washed my sheets...and i really dont want to right now, that and the room is a complete mess. id post some pics of what i did staying up all night...but i know my mom will see this and id get in trouble... well guys, thats it for now.
